Code of Conduct

1. Anti-Harassment and Discrimination

All members are entitled to a respectful and harassment-free environment. Harassment or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other legally protected status strictly prohibited. Violations may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the community. 

2. Professional Conduct

Members must engage respectfully and professionally, refraining from personal attacks, defamatory remarks, or inappropriate language. All communication must remain constructive and courteous. 

3. Attendance and No-Show Policy

Members who book a meetup must attend or provide at least seventy-two (72) hours’ notice if unable to do so. Repeated failure to comply may lead to restricted access to future meetups or membership suspension. 

4. Acceptable Discussions

To maintain a professional environment, discussions of political or religious nature are not permitted. Discriminatory or offensive content will not be tolerated and may result in corrective action, including membership revocation. 

5. Identity Verification

Members must maintain an active LinkedIn profile or complete an alternative identity verification process approved by the community. Failure to comply may lead to removal from the community. 

6. Solicitation and Job Referral Policy

Unsolicited job referrals or resume requests are prohibited unless a prior professional relationship exists. Networking should be based on authentic engagement rather than transactional requests. Violations may lead to disciplinary action. 

7. Enforcement

All violations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Administrators may issue warnings, suspend access, or terminate membership at their discretion. 

By participating, members agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct.

  • In Canada (PIPEDA): We collect personal data based on your consent and use it only for stated purposes.
  • In the US (CCPA & general privacy laws): We only collect necessary personal information and ensure transparency in its use.

1.4 Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard protection, including encryption, access controls, and regular security monitoring.

You may not use our platform for:

  • Any damages resulting from platform use.
  • Interactions between mentors and mentees outside our platform.
